Thai tuna salad

Thai tuna salad

Ingredients

2 cloves Garlic
200 g Tuna
1 Tbsp Soy sauce
2 Tbsp Lime juice
1 Tbsp Fish sauce
1 tsp Sugar
2 Tbsp Fresh coriander
1 Tbsp Fresh mint
120 g Salad greens
2 Spring onions
12 Cherry tomatoes

Directions

  1. Cook fresh tuna on a barbecue or in a non-stick frying pan for one to two minutes each side. Remove and refrigerate until cold.
  2. Crush 2 cloves garlic, peel and place in a blender or food processor with soy sauce, lime juice, fish sauce, sugar, coriander and mint. Blend to combine.
  3. Slice tuna thinly and mix with sauce. Scatter salad greens over a serving platter. Wash spring onions and slice. Wash tomatoes and cut in half. Place tuna slices, spring onions and tomato over lettuce.
