Chocolate custard and pear pie
- Heat oven to 170C fan bake. Grease a 24cm ceramic flan dish. Place butter, sugar, flour, cocoa, vanilla, eggs, milk and salt in a food processor and process to combine into a smooth custard mixture.
- Pour chocolate custard into prepared dish. Arrange pear slices, overlapping slightly, in the custard.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until the pie is puffed up, golden and firm to the touch. Serve either hot or slightly cooled.
