Banana bread is a deliciously moist and tasty snack. Try different variations of this traditional favourite by using chopped brazil nuts or almonds instead of walnuts in your loaf.
- Preheat oven to 180C. Beat butter and sugars until pale and creamy, then add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Sift together the flour, baking powder and cinnamon and add to the butter mixture along with bananas(mashed), walnuts and baking soda dissolved in milk.
- Pour batter into a lined 25cm loaf pan and bake for 1 hour or until a skewer inserted comes out clean.
