Pork and sage burgers with apple rings

Pork and apple are a classic taste combination and this dinner is a fun way for the family to assemble their own meals.
|1||Apple, peeled, cored and grated|
|600 g||Pork mince|
|1 Tbsp||Fresh sage, chopped|
|1 Tbsp||Light olive oil|
- To make the patties, place the meat in a bowl and add the remaining ingredients, except the olive oil and mix well. Divide the mixture into 4 and shape each portion into a round, flat pattie. Chill patties for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan, add the burger patties and cook them for 5 to 7 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through. After 5 minutes of cooking, add sliced apples to the pan and cook them for a few minutes on each side, until golden, then remove from the pan.
- Arrange some salad leaves on the bottom half of the toasted ciabatta rolls, top with a pork pattie and some apple slices, then place the top on the roll or prop it against the burger.
