Crispy Coconut Waffles
- In a bowl, mix together the flour sugar, baking powder, baking soda and a pinch of salt. In liquid measuring cup, whisk together the melted Harvest Organic Coconut Oil, coconut milk and egg. Add the wet ingredients to the dry, stirring until just combined. Let sit while you heat up your waffle iron. If you do not have a waffle iron, you can use a hot pan instead. Your waffles will look a bit more like pancakes but will have the same delicious waffle flavour.
- Grease your waffle iron/pan and cook until waffles are golden brown and crispy
- Top with your choice of sliced fruit and drizzle with syrup and cream.
