These sweet and salty chilli-spiked nut clusters are versatile snacks. Package them into jars and serve them as a picnic or party nibble. They would also make a great gift.

Ingredients

400 g Mixed nuts, raw cashews, hazelnuts, walnuts, pecans, peanuts
1 tsp Chilli powder
3 Tbsp Runny honey
1 sprinkle Sea salt flakes

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 175C. Toss raw nuts with chilli powder and freshly ground pepper. Add runny honey, mix together well, spread on to a baking tray lined with baking paper and roast in the oven until caramelised. Sprinkle with sea salt flakes and leave to cool.
  2. Break into clusters and store in airtight jars.
