Flat-iron steak with glazed beetroot

As a cut that is full of flavour, they require little more than a quick pan fry and a bed of glistening beetroot to sit upon.
- Heat the oil in a non-stick pan add beetroot coriander seeds and fennel seeds. After a few minutes add honey and orange juice and simmer until the beetroot is tender and the juice has reduced to a syrup. Season with salt and pepper.
- Meanwhile cook the steak: Heat a frying pan. Sprinkle Silver Fern Farms Beef Flat-Iron Steaks with salt and pepper, drizzle with oil and fry 3 minutes each side. Remove and rest, covered for 5 minutes.
- Slice the steaks and serve on top of beetroot with a side of vegetables.
