Ingredients

1 Tbsp Crushed garlic
1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
2 tsp Oregano, or thyme
⅛ tsp Chilli powder
¼ cup Olive oil
¼ cup Fresh basil, chopped
2 sheets Puff pastry, pre-rolled, thawed
1 Egg

Directions

  1. Preheat an oven to 200C.
  2. In a small bowl mix the garlic, parmesan, oregano, chilli and oil. Season with salt and pepper and basil.
  3. Place the pastry sheets on a lightly floured bench. Shape each piece into a rectangle the same size.
  4. Brush both with egg. Spread one sheet with the cheese mixture right to the edges.
  5. Place the other sheet on top, egg against the cheese. Gently press the pastry together.
  6. Cut lengthways down the middle of the pastry. Now cut crossways in strips 1cm wide.
  7. Twist each strip and place on to two or three lined baking trays.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes. Remove and allow to cool.
